I don’t know about you, but my favorite part about fall is the jackets. I’m definitely not a fan of brutal cold and heavy winter coats, but fall jackets are my favorite. They can bring an outfit to a whole different level, dressing up a casual look or dressing down a fancy dress. Not only are fall jackets light and comfortable, but they’re also super stylish. With the ’90s and early 2000’s coming back in style, there are endless ways you can wear jackets this fall. Here are some of our favorite new styles:
Trench Coats
You might think that a trench coat is way too dramatic, but the right one is a staple piece that everyone should have in their closet. It’s a classic piece that will definitely keep you warm on chillier fall days but also will dress up any outfit.
Blazers
Blazers have been in style for quite some time now, and long gone are the days of them being just for work. Blazers can be worn with any outfit and are absolutely adorable. In the summer, we saw blazers paired with biker shorts and crop tops. But for the fall, we’re switching them out for baggy jeans and turtlenecks.
Animal Print
I mean, it’s pretty obvious that animal print is in style. There’s everything from animal print clothes to animal print home decor, so it’s no surprise that animal print jackets would come in style this fall season. The great thing about animal print is that the design is entirely up to you. Leopard print, zebra, snakeskin- or if you’re like me, you’ll get all three.
Oversized Leather Jackets
Leather jackets have been a staple jacket in the fall since forever, and with their versatility, I’m sure they’re not going anywhere. While tight-fitting leather jackets used to be what was in, oversized jackets are taking their place. Oversized leather jackets are perfect because they’re super comfy unlike a tight jacket and look really good when paired with a tighter fitting dress or denim.
Belted Jackets
Belted jackets are flattering on everyone as they cinch in the waist and accentuate your curves. Belted jackets are definitely a hot piece this fall and you can find one in just about any design, pattern, or color. Some of my favorites are belted denim jackets and belted plaid jackets.
