I know, it’s heartbreaking to admit, but summer is just about over. August is coming to a quick close, and soon enough, the leaves will be changing colors and pumpkin spice everything will be back in stores. But, if there’s one thing I’m excited about this fall, it’s fall fashion. I love everything about fall fashion, from leather jackets to knee-high boots. It’s almost time to break out your boots and sneakers, and these are all the shoe styles we’re expecting to see this fall:
Bright colored boots
Boots are always a staple in the fall, but this year, bright-colored boots are in style. They are an easy and fun way to add a pop of color to more neutral fall outfits.
Utilitarian boots
If you’re looking for a pair of shoes that will make a statement, these are it. It’s super trendy right now to wear utilitarian boots with a floral dress. It adds a grungy touch to an otherwise girly outfit.
Barely-there sandals
Okay, so we don’t have to say goodbye to sandals quite yet! Barely-there sandals have been trendy recently, and it looks like they’re not going anywhere. Wear them with a pair of baggy jeans and a beautiful blouse for an easy way to dress up an outfit.
Statement Bows
Statement bows were a big hit on the fall 2020 runways, so we’re expecting to see many of them in stores. Whether it’s a bow on a pair of sandals or high heels, statement bows are adorable for the fall.
Platforms
Platform shoes are a trend that I hope never goes away, so I’m very excited they’re sticking around for the fall. Platform sneakers, platform heels, platform boots- they’re all great! Who doesn’t love an added boost of height?
Brogues
I’ve been seeing these shoes all over social media recently. They give off a sophisticated, school girl vibe and are easy to throw on to make an outfit look more trendy.
Sneakers
Sneakers are definitely a year-round shoe style, and they have gotten very popular in recent years. Whether it’s platform sneakers, chunky sneakers, slip-ons, or “dad sneakers,” they’re all fashionable for the fall.
Slingbacks
Slingback heels are a classic shoe and are making their way back in style this fall. The small heel makes it more comfortable and versatile for different occasions. You can wear them to work, out to dinner, or even to a casual lunch.
