Spring has officially sprung, and the weather is finally starting to get more beautiful out! And just because we’re indoors doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a lovely summery drink to ring in the change of seasons. Even though they’re alcohol-free, mocktails are a fun and easy way to get into the summer spirit, and here are four recipes you’ll want to make on repeat:
Shirley Ginger
The adult version of your childhood favorite, Shirley Temple:
4 cups Brooklyn Crafted Lemon Lime Ginger Beer
1 cup club soda
3 tbsp lime juice
.25 cup grenadine
Combine all the ingredients together in a glass with ice and a maraschino cherry and enjoy on a nice spring day!
Blueberry Mojito
A mojito is a perfect drink for warm weather, and this mocktail version has a sweet blueberry twist:
6-8 mint leaves
A handful of fresh blueberries
2 oz of lime juice
2 oz of simple syrup
Splash of club soda
Lightly crush the blueberries, add in the remaining ingredients, shake, and enjoy safely in your home.
Revitalizer
The perfect combination of a healthy juice and a refreshing drink, non-alcoholic of course.
9 oz carrot juice
15 oz apple juice
2.25 oz ginger syrup (1:1 ration ginger juice/sugar)
.75 oz lime juice
While having a juicer helps with this recipe, you can still make it without. Combine all the ingredients, strain, and pour over ice.
Mango Mule
Another classic springtime drink, this mango mule is fruity and refreshing:
4-5 slices of cucumber
1 oz honey syrup
1.5 oz mango puree
1.5 oz fresh lime juice
1.5 oz ginger beer
Ice
Crush the cucumber and honey first, then add in the mango and lime juice and shake together. Add the ginger beer, pour into a glass with ice, and enjoy!
