If you’re not into crowds this Valentine’s Day, but don’t want to forfeit a romantic celebration either, you can easily have a great time without all the fuss. For some people, being bombarded by a crowd kills the mood and for the anti-social it can be a real bummer. The good news is, you don’t have to go out to dinner and a movie this year. You can totally enjoy your significant other in a place where it’s just the two of you.
For example, you can enjoy a dinner at home. One of you can do all the cooking for the other one. Or, both of you can cook together. Be sure to cook something you’ve never made before, or don’t eat very often.
You can also skip the theatre and catch a movie at home. They don’t have to be romantic comedies either. You can totally enjoy a horror or suspense, if that’s more your speed.
You can also give each other a couple’s massage. It’s the perfect segway into other fun romantic Valentine’s Day activities.
Another idea to try is to celebrate Valentine’s Day on a different day. That way you can still go out to dinner or a movie and not have to worry about the bustling V-Day crowd.
Finally, try celebrating Valentine’s Day out of town. If you go to a different place you don’t have to worry about running into people you know. Also, if you go visit a small town, the crowds won’t be a large.
