Must tweet…must tweet…Hold onto your smartphone, because you won’t believe this: Twitter can be more irresistible than coffee or sex! Researchers in a study, published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, tracked 205 people for a week and asked them to rate their “urges” toward media, tobacco, coffee and sex throughout the day.
Media (like Twitter or television) rang in as one of the most common urges (over tobacco—a win for health and beauty!). Researchers point out that twitter’s more accessible midday—versus, you know, sex—but still, let’s all tweet our collective shock here.
