Downie, “We all have about 2.6 million sweat glands all over our bodies and are capable of producing multiple pints of sweat per hour as needed to regulate temperate levels.” (The key words there are million and pints.) Amounts of sweat vary by individual. If you find yourself soaking through your shirts even when it’s not very hot outside, anxiety, menopause, or side effects of medication could be to blame.
