Adult playfulness isn’t a sign of immaturity. On the contrary, researchers think playfulness actually signals positive qualities to would-be mates. In a recent study out of Penn State, about 250 people ranked having a sense of humor, being fun-loving and being playful as near the top of the list of 16 characteristics they’d want in their partners.
So don’t shy away—go play! You’re not too old. Trust us.
