You’ve probably heard that moderate amounts of alcohol can do wonders for your heart health. But throwing the word moderate around is tricky territory. CDC data has it that adults in the US, on average, drink 100 calories from alcohol every day. Regular drinkers get 16 percent of their total calories from alcohol.
Heart-healthy or not, all those excess calories can add up, so stick to that one glass of wine (two for men)!
