Kissing: it’s something we’ve been doing forever and will continue to do forever. You might have had your first kiss when you were a kid, and the light peck on the lips meant nothing for you. But as you get older, kissing becomes more and more important.
There are your first few initial kisses, where everything is new and exciting, and you’re learning how to do it. Then once you get the hang of it, kissing can become a lot more than just a peck on the lips.
A kiss can make a relationship. It can tear apart of friendship, it can cause heartbreak. There’s light kissing, french kissing, neck kissing- and they all mean different things. A good kisser takes skill, and this is what all the different types of kisses mean:
Kiss on the lips
The classic kiss. A kiss on the lips can be a light goodbye kiss after a first date, or it can be the start of a steamy make-out session. Most times, a kiss on the lips means attraction and love, but a quick peck can also mean a simple goodbye.
Neck kiss
Kissing on the neck is an integral part of arousal for some, as the neck is a very sensitive part of your body. Many people get aroused when kissed on the neck, making neck kissing a part of being intimate with someone.
French kiss
French kissing is kissing with tongues, and it’s one of those things that you were so scared to do as a kid, but now comes second nature. French kissing often comes after the initial kiss on the lips and usually goes hand in hand with neck kissing as a part of getting intimate with someone.
Cheek Kiss
A cheek kiss is often done in a friendly way. You might cheek kiss your friends goodbye, your family hello, or even someone you just met might go in for a quick peck on the cheek. Either way, a cheek kiss is typically a way of greeting or saying goodbye.
Forehead kiss
A forehead kiss is usually a way of someone telling you they like you. If they kiss you on the forehead, it’s often a sign of endearment, but it’s also not uncommon for family members to kiss you on the forehead as a way of saying hello or goodbye.
Body kiss
Kisses on other parts of your body (ears, legs, stomach, etc.) are often used in the way of getting someone aroused. Various elements on your body get aroused when touched or kissed, and so being kissed on those areas is often combined with foreplay.
