Being human is a lot of fun, especially when you realize that we all have similar habits. Let’s pause and laugh at ourselves a moment at some of the things we all tend to do when we think no one is looking…
– Come home from work or running an errand and feel totally happy when no one’s there. Of course you love your loved ones, but there’s nothing wrong with not wanting to be bothered with family or friends as soon as you step through the door.
– Adamant that an inanimate object has it out to get you. We’ve all done this one before. For some reason a device won’t work or do what we want it to do, so we get angry with it. Or, we start pleading with it and blaming the object as if it has a say in what’s going on.
– Turned the music down in the car so you could better concentrate. Maybe you needed to make a sharp turn, or got lost. Whatever the reason was, you needed full capacity of your senses and the radio was only a big distraction.
– Wrote an angry email to someone just to delete it. We’ve all done this one. For whatever reason, you were upset and wanted to get things off your chest so you wrote an email. At the end of the day, you didn’t press send and good thing you didn’t.
– Went shopping on your phone late at night and woke up the next day wondering what happened. If you’ve ever had a shopping hangover, you’re not alone. Staying up late buying something online and wondering why you did it the next day is all too common.
– Ate a family size bag of chips or cookies alone. Hey every now and then you just want to binge. Just as long as you don’t make it a habit you’re good to go.
– Pretended to be excited when you got a birthday card with no money in it. Even if it’s only a couple of dollars, it’s still always nice to see money in a birthday card.
