It’s no secret that tie-dye is the latest trend this summer when it comes to clothing, and it seems like Starbucks is jumping on that bandwagon. Now available at Starbucks in the US and Canada, this iconic drink will be available for a limited time. Think about all the Starbucks Instagrams we’ll be seeing now.
What exactly is in the Tie-Dye Frappuccino, you ask? There is a concoction of ingredients used to create its vibrant colors. The blended crème base consists of turmeric, red beet, and spirulina, so those vibrant colors are all natural. And the taste? Imagine a combination of something topical and banana. It’s topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of yellow, red, and blue powder to top it off. This drink is summer in a cup.
One tip from us to you is don’t replace your coffee with this. While the colors are visually appealing and the taste is summery, there isn’t any actual caffeine in this.
