Lindsay Lohan can’t catch a break: she’s been hospitalized after a month-long battle with the mosquito-borne virus called chikungunya.According to the World Health Organization, chikungunya causes fever and severe joint pain which “may persist for several months or even years.” Lohan never fully recovered after her initial diagnosis with the rare disease in December after a stay in Bora Bora. Even worse, she picked it up while in French Polynesia for work: She was on location to film an Esurance commerial, according to New York Daily News.Lohan tweeted a picture on December 27 to remind her followers, “Use Big spray please [sic]. God Bless.” Heed her warning next time you’re on location in Bora Bora.
