To the excitement/shock of “Frozen” fans, Idina Menzel has finally brought Elsa to life by channeling her with a whole new blonde ‘do. The Tony award-winning actress and world-renowned vocalist tweeted a picture of herself yesterday with platinum locks and was clearly excited about the transformation.

A simple “change” is an understatement for Idina’s new dye job! Don’t get me wrong, she looks great, but she also looks like a completely different person with the icy blonde hair. We almost didn’t recognize her!
She’s not the only girl to recently take the plunge and go blonde. Kim Kardashian shocked her fans with a dramatic hair makeover just two weeks ago for Paris Fashion Week. Ditching her classic, dark brown locks for a platinum ‘do, the Internet exploded in a way that was almost as shocking as her constant butt pictures (but not quite). She took to Facebook to give her admirers an inside look at her new chop & coloring.
As a girl who always goes for a drastic cut or crazy dye job post-breakup or emotional stress (where have my friends been to stop me?), maybe Idina is feeling the same “renewal” that only a hair change-up can give you. Also, could this mean a new project or musical adventure is coming our way from the singer?! Considering her 2015 World Tour kicks off this May, it can only mean we’re in store for some revived performances and possible new music.
