Update, 6/2/15, 10:15a.m.
Vanity Fair is sharing more information from their interview with Caitlyn Jenner, including how she suffered from a panic attack the day after she went through a 10-hour facial feminization surgery as part of her transition surgery back on March 15. Caitlyn explained her frantic thoughts as saying, “What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?”.
Thankfully, after seeing a counselor, Caitlyn realized that these thoughts can sometimes occur due to pain medication, and that second-guessing is completely natural after such a big decision. Fortunately, Caitlyn said these thoughts have completely subsided, and haven’t returned since.
Original Post, 6/1/15:
Back in April, Bruce Jenner revealed to Diane Sawer that he was transitioning into a woman. Today, Caitlyn Jenner introduces herself on cover of Vanity Fair‘s July issue. Now going by female pronouns, Caitlyn has finally stepped out as a transgender woman, publicly unveiling the way which she now chooses to appear and the name she now chooses to be called by.

The gorgeous photoshoot was shot by iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz. Can we just talk for a second about how amazing Caitlyn looks? She opens up about her transition to womanhood within the magazine pages, but VF gave us a little peek into Caitlyn’s remarks at first: “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.’ ”
Caitlyn also has a verified account on Twitter and shared her first tweet:
I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.
