If this is your first week back at the gym, don’t worry, not much has changed. The ellipticals are full, the towels are too rough, and everyone in the weight room looks … confused. We have proof! This innocent-seeming forum on Bodybuilding.com entitled “Full Body Workout Every Other Day?” (an oldie, but a goodie) devolved quickly when two sweet lunkheads couldn’t agree on the number of days in a week. Its 129 posts over five pages of a forum that vacillates between rude and conciliatory. We open on user m1ndless (oh, the sweet irony) questioning, “Is it safe to do a full body workout every other day?” He recieves an honest answer from user all pro, “Most beginner-intermediate programs are full body workouts, 3x per week.”After some gym rat banter about compound lifts, over training, etc., shots fired from steviekm3: “That makes no sense. There are only 7 days in a week. If you go every other day that is 3.5 times a week.”User TheJosh goes to the trouble of writing out his schedule. He wonders, “All muscle and no brains? lol.”
Justin-27 adds, “Dude THAT IS 15 DAYS!!!!!! Are you that effing mental? You can’t have a week go Sun-Sat, then Sun-Sun. Look at the damn pic you posted, count the days what do they equal?!?!?! FIFTEEN! Kids these days. I was right, 3.5 x a week, and so was the first guy to post it, and you my bright friend are el wrongo.” (Ed Note: EL WRONGO??? YA BURNT.)TheJosh gets mean, “I think you just don’t know how to count, it’s alright, I won’t tell anyone. lol. Sunday-Saturday is only 6 days, do you have 6 days weeks where you live?“”Do you have 6 days weeks where you live?” Highly recommended reading.READ MORE: How to Build Muscles With Strength Training Exercises
