Actress Alyssa Milano, who welcomed her baby girl Elizabella Dylan Bugliari in September, shared a picture of herself breastfeeding on Instagram this week — coincidentally in conjunction with Paper Magazine‘s attempt to “break the Internet” with pictures of Kim Kardashian’s naked body. New mom Milano noted that a selfie showing her wearing a shirt while breastfeeding an infant got a ton of backlash while critics seemed “fine” with Kardashian’s naked, oily ass.
Milano tweeted, “Wait! I don’t get it. No disrespect to Kim but… people are offended by my breastfeeding selfies & are fine with her (amazing) booty cover?” While Kim has in fact seen her share of backlash for the cover, we would all do just fine leaving these mothers alone to take off (or not take off) however much they want. In other news, “Free The Nipple,” it looks like you’ve got a new celebrity for your cause. (Alyssa, not Kim. But probably Kim, too.)
