Sticky lip balms are my Kryptonite. Okay, they don’t actually kill me. But they are really annoying — so I’m always on the hunt for a nourishing, non-sticky lip balm. The Conditioning Lip Balm from e.l.f. Studio made with vitamin E is a good one, with just a hint of color to boot.

Packaging: E.l.f.’s Conditioning Lip Balm comes in a small, lightweight jar. It looks a lot like the packaging for the colored lip balms in jars made by MAC, only shaped as a square instead of a circle.
How To Use It: The balm has noticeable sheer color to it, so you need to apply it like lipstick rather than just smear it all over your lips like Chapstick. To me, this has worked best as a balm/gloss on top of lipstick rather than just on my lips alone.
Results: I’ve of two minds about this balm — I have one from MAC in a similar shade which is way more moisturizing. The balm doesn’t really seep into my lips, which is why I’ve preferred to use it over lipstick for extra staying power. It feels comfortable on the lips, though, and costs a heck of a lot less than the MAC one. I just keep this in my bathroom cabinet to freshen up when I have guests over, but it’s not in my go-to makeup bag every day.
