Wedding bells are ringing all summer long. The latest wedding buzz has been all about Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, who tied the knot at a surprise wedding in Los Vegas in May. The couple is going at it, once again, at a more traditional wedding to take place in France. We should expect to see no shortage of celebrities at their wedding, as friends and fellow stars Maisie Williams, Priyanka Chopra, and Wilmer Valderrama will be making an appearance.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner aren’t the only ones tying the knot this year, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are joining in on the festivities. Bloom and Perry got engaged back in February and have been planning the wedding ever since. They have plans to walk down the aisle in the fall officially.
Katy Perry has never been one to stick to tradition, so do we expect her wedding day to be? Of course not! Rumor has it that Katy Perry is going beyond the traditional wedding dress and is leaning away from wearing white on the big day. The color, and design, of the dress, is something we can’t wait to see, but if it’s Katy Perry wearing it- we can expect something over the top and fabulous.
The couple has been dating on and off for about three years, and have managed to keep the majority of their relationship entirely private. We know of the engagement from the photos the couple shared on Instagram of the breathtaking engagement ring (which supposedly cost $5 million!!!!), but much else of their relationship is quite the mystery.
Rumors have it that the wedding is going to be a private and intimate event. We have reason to believe that Taylor Swift may be making an appearance after Perry and Swift reconciled after their years of not being friends. There are no more rumors about the rest of the guest list, but we know the couple wants to keep the event for close friends and family only.
The Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom wedding is an event we all can’t wait for. Will it take the title of “Wedding of the Year”? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
