Before they wowed us on the big screen, our favorite celebs had to walk the halls of their high schools. Here’s what some of our favorite celebs were like “back in the day”…
Halle Berry: Halle Berry was her high school prom queen – by the luck of a coin toss! She beat out a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, but was accused of faking the votes. A lucky coin toss deemed her as the official winner.
Will Smith: He adopted the name, “Fresh Prince” in high school. It was there where he started rapping.
Oprah Winfrey: Oprah was in the Honor Society, and student government. She was voted most popular.
Jennifer Lopez: She went to an all-girls Catholic high school, but was not the most popular.
Snoop Dogg: Played football in high school.
Jessica Chastain: Kids, don’t try this at home. Turns out Chastain actually dropped out of high school.
Melissa McCarthy: McCarthy went from preppy to goth during her Junior and Senior years of high school.
Matthew McConaughey: Surprise, surprise…McConaughey was voted most handsome in high school. He’s from Longview, Texas where he played tennis, and golf.
Reese Witherspoon: She went to an all-girls high school in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a funny, loveable dork.
Will Ferrell: Actor and comedian, Will Ferrell was voted best personality in high school. He was active in sports as he played soccer, basketball, baseball and football.
