Whether you’re a Swiftie or not, you gotta hand it to the girl. She has a heart of gold. The country-pop star sent fans reeling after making special deliveries of $3,000 each to fans hard-hit by the pandemic.
Samantha Jacobson, a longtime fan, lost her job at Disney World for the next foreseeable future after the bar she worked at shut down due to the pandemic. Despite her hardships, she took to Tumblr to tell her friends and family to donate what they can while she can’t:
“I wish so badly that I could donate to the link Taylor provided [to the charity Feeding America] but because of COVID-19 my job, my only source of income, is closed for a minimum of 30 days. I have no job, no income, no way to pay my bills rn. If anyone happens to be able to donate and has it in their hearts to do so, anything really really helps with bills right now.”
A day later, she received the surprise of a lifetime when Taylor personally contacted her.

Yup, the star asked Samantha where she can send her $3,000 to help her out for the next month while she’s out of a job. Then, another fan got an unexpected surprise:
