Remember when the Kylies faced off over trademarking the Kylie name? Well, game, set, match on this fiery battle because Kylie Minogue just released her own beauty line under the name “Kylie.”

It all started back in 2016 when the Jenner clan, specifically, the then 17-year-old Kylie Jenner, applies for a trademark with USPTO of her name “Kylie” for advertising and endorsement purposes.

Kylie Minogue got wind of these proceedings and was not having any of it. The performer, who goes by the name “Kylie” a la Madonna, enlisted her legal team to fight the newcomer’s encroachment on a brand Minogue built throughout her 30-year career.

The legal filing referred to Kylie Jenner as a ”secondary reality TV personality.” Yup that happened.

Meanwhile, Kylie Minogue already owned many properties under her name, including Kylie.com.

By January 2017, Minogue seemed to have a change of heart because her team withdrew the filing. We’re still unsure whether they settled, but something is brewing with the viral Kylie cosmetics line. We’re just eating the popcorn and waiting for the next bit of news to hit.
