Honestly, what is more exciting at the end of The Bachelor season: who gets the final rose or who is the next Bachelorette? I don’t know about you, but I have to say the latter takes the cake.
With just a few more episodes remaining in this season of The Bachelor, the announcement of next season’s Bachelorette is finally here: Clare Crawley!
The last season of The Bachelorette was quite the roller coaster with Hannah Brown and Pete Weber as this season’s Bachelor has been quite the same. So, we’re not quite sure what to expect with Clare Crawley.
Usually, the next Bachelor or Bachelorette is announced once the season is over, but this year our wishes were granted a little bit earlier. The news broke on Monday, March 2 during Good Morning America.
So, who is Clare Crawley?
Clare is a 38-year-old hairstylist from Sacramento, CA and was the runner-up on Juan Pablo Galavis’s season of The Bachelor back in 2014. Clare made appearances on spinoffs Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Winter Games. Clare is actually the oldest Bachelorette in the show’s history, so there’s a possibility this season will be very different from previous.
But to Clare, she doesn’t think her age will be a problem- she’s just looking for love.
“The most important thing is I want a man that will take off his armor,” Clare revealed during an interview with Good Morning America. “I want a man who is strong, but is willing to take off the body armor, open himself up and be vulnerable, and I think that is some serious strength right there.”
