However, a few days after the “Señorita” music video was released, rumors started floating around that Camila and her boyfriend had split. Hmmm, perfect timing?
Sparks really started to fly a few weeks later when the pair were spotted out to dinner together, holding hands, and packing on the PDA. The couple has not been shy to showcase their newfound love since then, and we’ve seen pictures of them locking lips just about everywhere.
At the same time, fans started to speculate that the whole thing was all a PR stunt. The timing seemed all to fit all too well with the release of “Señorita” and fans started questioning the truth behind their relationship.
Although Shawn and Camila have been friends for years, their relationship status has gone from strictly friend-zoned to fully in love in quite a short amount of time. Their performance at the VMAs Monday night was nothing short of steamy which seemed to confirm their relationship even further.
