According to the UK’s Independent, last year during a baptism ceremony, he told the moms, “If they are hungry, mothers, feed them, without thinking twice, because they are the most important people here.”Between this and his movement toward a “new balance” on the traditional Catholic anti-gay, anti-abortion, and anti-birth control stance, its almost like the Pope is trying to be cool. We’re just grateful that he is recognizing that breastfeeing is entirely natural and not something mothers should feel ashamed to do.
