I didn’t start wearing lipstick regularly until, oh, this year. Tinted lip balms, especially moisturizing ones, are my ride-or-die lip product. So that’s why I’m the perfect person to share my thoughts on Benefit Cosmetics (new-ish) Benebalms, a moisturizing tinted lip balm based off the same shades as the brand’s popular Benetint lip and cheek stain.Product: Benefit Cosmetics BenebalmPrice: $18We Think:

How to Use:  Benebalm comes in a sturdy tube with Benefit Cosmetics’ trademark cute packaging. The available shades are Benebalm, a rosy red; Posebalm, a sexy pink; Lollibalm, an orchid; and Chachabalm, a peach. I tried the rosy red Benebalm, which I bought at a department store. One, possibly two swipes, is enough to coat and lightly color my lips. Results: I love my Benebalm for hydrating my lips and the smooth, subtle texture that it leaves. It doesn’t feel gloopy at all the way some other lip balms do. It gives my lips a sheer yet noticeable shade of color; Benebalm also covers nicely over red lipstick to give it a glossier look. That being said, it melts and gets greasy quite easily. It doesn’t seem like it can handle being someplace warm. I’ve taken my Benebalm out of my purse, in fact, and retired it to my dresser at home because I really didn’t want to keep risking a potential mishap.  I love Benefit Cosmetics products in general, but I’m not sure I’ll be purchasing this one again.Read More:We Tried It: Clarins Instang Light Lip Balm PerfectorWe Tried It: e.l.f.
