Redken has tapped Brazilian model and activist Lea T to be their new “muse,” the blog Fashionista reports. Lea T, who Oprah called the first transgender supermodel, has walked the runways during fall/winter 2012 Sao Paolo fashion week, kissed Kate Moss on LOVE magazine, and modelled for Givenchy and Benetton.“We’re all people with our own personality, our own beauty, own own life,” Lea T said in a statement about the new campaign, which will focus on the Chromatics line.” I love working with Redken because they appreciate all kinds of beauty. They believe in the individuality of the person, and I think that’s really important.”Congrats to Lea — and to Redken — on a groundbreaking campaign!
