Six months pregnant princess Kate Middleton recently left her home looking a bit tired, pale, and allegedly sporting a few silver streaks while shopping in London. The UK’s Express said it’s assumed the princess has stopped dyeing her hair dark chocolate brown with caramel-colored highlights … which is extremely responsible of her. The chemicals in hair dye (as well as spray tans) could possibly be harmful for a growing fetus. The UK’s Daily Mail — granted, a gossip rag — claimed Middleton is using a vegetable dye rinse instead.Reports of Middleton looking drained and worn-out, with her (slightly gray) hair pulled back into a loose pony, have surfaced. In all honesty, I don’t blame Kate for her less than perfect appearance one bit. The Duchess is reportedly suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, again, during her second pregnancy. According to the American Pregnancy Association, women suffering from this are plagued with extreme morning sickness that gives her persistent nausea and vomiting all throughout her pregnancy. With a condition as severe as hers, common treatments include IVs, tube feeing, and multiple medications. For women who know what hyperemesis gravidarum feels like, I think they’d agree that we should all applaud Kate for the simple act of getting out of bed in the morning — not pointing out her greys. The fact that a single strand of gray hair came forth from her glossy locks and now her dye job isn’t up to par, is the least of her troubles. And definitely shouldn’t be a concern of ours.READ MORE: The 10 Most Glowing Pregnant Ladies of 2014
