You may know Burt’s Bees for it’s all natural lip balms and lotions. But, the popular natural brand is about to offer something more to it’s line up – an all natural makeup line. So far, the Burt’s Bees makeup collection is made up of 7 staple items that are set to debut this September. It features both liquid and powder foundation, blush, mascara, three-pan shadow palettes, liner and a brow pencil. Plus, there’s a new addition to it’s lip color family.
The liquid foundation is a full coverage foundation with a glow, not cake look. It comes in 12 different shades, ranging from “porcelain” to “chestnut”. The powder foundation is similar and has a non-drying, mattifying finish.
There are three hues of blush. To get an idea of what they like, think…barely-there rose, sandy bronze, and Bare Peach. You won’t want to miss their glossy lipsticks. They are actually very hydrating for the lips, which is a breath of fresh air from other lipsticks.
The eye shadows come in four mini-palettes, each with a trio of complimentary neutral colors. As for the eyeliner, it’s a pencil that comes in three standard shades, which are made with mango oil. That helps to create an easy, smooth application that doesn’t drag.
