Tis the season for spring cleaning! Ellie Goulding’s long, blonde hair (above) just got a new spring look (below): the pop star is now rocking’ a lob, or long bob. She debuted the new ‘do on her Instagram last night as she was getting ready to attend a party for the designer Balmain:

The new lob is a chicer look on the usually-sporty performer, whose long blonde hair is usually worn down and gathered around her face (or whipping around onstage). And it’s a serious departure from the undercut — i.e. hair partly shaved underneath — that Ellie has worn in the past.
Another celeb sporting a new spring lob is Sarah Hyland from “Modern Family” ,who has somehow managed to get tons of press coverage for simply posing with her hair extensions out. (Good for her, though.) Do two new lobs constitute a trend? Stay tuned to see which celeb chops her locks next!
