Slumbering next to someone results in 50 percent more nighttime disturbances — think restlessness, snoring and getting up to use the bathroom — than snoozing on your own, according to the National Sleep Foundation (NSF). So it’s no surprise that about 26 percent of people say that they get a more restful night’s sleep when they have the bed to themselves, compared with nights when they share their bed with their partner, according to the NSF.
