In case you haven’t heard, J.Lo is playing a stripper hustling her clients out of some serious cash in the new Hustlers movie. Candace Wu and Cardi B join her alongside in this based-on-a-true-story adaptation of a New York Magazine article “Hustlers at Scores” by Jessica Pressler.
The film follows the star-studded cast as they scam their mainly Wall Street clientele out of their hard-earned money. While the first trailer gave us a brief glimpse of the story, the second one takes us deeper into the narrative. And it finally gives us a glimpse of Cardi B’s big-screen debut! The stripper turned rapper no doubt knows how to bust some moves seeing as she has experience in the department.
Ramona (Jennifer Lopez), Destiny (Constance Wu), Mercedes (Keke Palmer), and Annabelle (Lili Reinhart) team up as the ultimate girl-squad with some serious self-empowerment goals. The new trailer shows Ramona and Diamond (Cardi B) teaching Destiny all the tricks of the trade, like giving a lap dance! Oh, and did we mention our bad b*tch Lizzo is in this too? Ready for this? The movie is in theaters September 13th. Get pumped!
